This project involved designing furniture for a large bungalow owned by two brothers. While one of the brother’s design brief revolved around modern pieces the other preferred more rooted, contemporary designs.
In order to cater to both the brother’s contradictory interests and simultaneously maintaining an underlying design language, the base materials were made constant and ancillary materials were added to facilitate the contrast. We opted for longer bed backs for this project to balance out the large blank walls.
