We were commissioned to get a brass swing done for one of Aangan Architects, Surat’s project. This was one of our first swings, which led us to developing more complex systems and materials for the future swings.Brass being a very soft material it presented various challenges, specially since the whole assembly was to be functional, take a lot of weight and also bear the swing mechanism, it took us 3 months to get this done but the results were very satisfying. All hardware and mechanism was custom fabricated in brass for the piece.
