We were so grateful to have been commissioned for this project during the lockdown which kept us occupied when all of us were confined to the studio.
The conversations with the client were potent with respect to the functional and visual requirements for the pieces. We designed the pieces for two areas of the house; the informal and the formal living spaces. It also gave us an opportunity to refine and execute some pieces that we had designed in our initial years.
We have always been keen towards textile design and wanted to add another dimension to the furniture by experimenting with the fabrics. There's been so much love for the work that Injiri and Abstrac have been doing in the field of textiles. We are so glad that we could collaborate with them to add another layer to our work.
