This project used a mild steel structure coupled with wood to create large cantilevers for the dining table. We used a combination of  MS structures with wood to create the large cantilevers for the dining table. This was a visual exercise shifting away from the generic idea of a table that is supported by four legs to a sleek cantilever. Functionally the cantilever proved useful as we were able to create ample drawers in the dining table for extra storage. As an extra touch of personalisation and belonging, a motif corresponding to each member of the family were embedded in the chairs.
